Freeform alerts on WhatsApp, SMS and Slack

Add Formcrier as a Freeform integration and each submission reaches your phone within seconds, on WhatsApp, a text, Telegram, Slack or Teams.

Create your Formcrier account

It's free for 10 alerts a month, with no card. Add your website, then create a secret key under Integrations & API keys.

Install the Formcrier plugin

The plugin is on its way to the Craft Plugin Store. Until it's there, email [email protected] for early access, or use the script, which works with Formie and Freeform.

Add your key

Add the key to your .env file. The plugin reads it by default; check the connection in Settings → Plugins → Formcrier.

Switch it on for your forms

In Freeform → Settings → Integrations → Webhooks, add a Formcrier integration. Then switch it on in each form's integration settings.

Choose where alerts go

In Formcrier, connect WhatsApp by scanning a QR code, or add a mobile number, Telegram, a Slack or Teams channel, or an email address. Utilities → Formcrier in Craft sends a test alert.

How it works with Freeform

Every edition: It works with every Freeform 5 edition.
Sent from the queue: Submissions go out from Craft's queue, so visitors never wait, and are tried again over the next few hours if Formcrier can't be reached.
Spam stays out: Submissions Freeform marks as spam are never sent.

Yes. You get one alert, when the last page is submitted.

Yes. The script knows Freeform's AJAX forms and waits for them to succeed. The plugin sends from your server, where ad blockers can't get in the way.
