Website form alerts in Slack
Every enquiry from your website is posted to the Slack channel you choose within seconds, where the whole team can see it and pick it up.
How to connect Slack
-
1
Add your website to Formcrier, with one line of code or the WordPress or Craft plugin.
-
2
Under Alert destinations, choose Slack and press Add to Slack.
-
3
Slack asks which channel the alerts should go to, such as #enquiries, then brings you back.
-
4
Your next enquiry is posted to that channel.
Step by step in the docs: Where alerts go.
Good to know
- One channel, no reading
- Formcrier can only post to the channel you choose. It can't read your messages.
- What you get
- The form's main fields in two columns, with a button to see the rest.
- More channels
- Add each channel as its own destination, and choose which forms post where.
- What it counts as
- Each message to a destination is one alert on your plan. Email alerts are unlimited on every plan.
Questions about Slack alerts
Alerts can go to more than one place. See everywhere alerts go.
No. Press Add to Slack and choose the channel. That's all.
Yes. Connect each channel, then choose which forms alert which. On Pro and Agency, routing rules can also send a submission by what was entered.
We try again automatically. If nothing gets through, the alert is emailed to the workspace owner, and the submission is saved in your dashboard either way.
